April is for me the beginning of beach / tanning season. Malibu beach seemed like the ideal location to start off such a beautiful season.
When it comes to beach outfits I like to keep it simple. Thanks to the amazing weather in Southern California I was able to wear my beloved high waisted shorts and a cute crop top. Shorts and crop tops are still my favourite to-go outfits because they always look good.
Sunglasses are a must-have when hitting the beach. They don’t only add the perfect amount of chicness to your outfit they also protect your eyes and the delicate skin around it from harsh UVA and UVB rays.
When going to the beach I prefer to wear leather flats. They are easy to pair with your look while protecting your feet from the hot sand.
Last but not least a beach outfit wouldn’t be complete without a beach bag. I was recently gifted with this tote bag from Nicole Lee. The bag is big enough for everything you need for a relaxing day at your favorite beach destination. The material is sturdy and really forgiving when it comes to putting your bag into the sand. I love the design just what my outfit needed to complete this beach look.
Don’t forget ladies simple can be chic. Adding the right amount of fun around an outfit like cool sunglasses or a cute bag can make all the difference. It's time to hit the beach so let's do it with style.
