Cream Lip Stain: Sephora
Hey Fashionistas,
I hope you all had an amazing weekend! My weekend included new content for my blog, shopping and lots of TV because it was raining like crazy. I also created this makeup look I want to show you today.
I absolutely love makeup and let’s be real who doesn't?! What I love most about makeup is the opportunity to create something beautiful. Of course, I am not a makeup artist and my looks are not even close to the makeup looks created by high-end YouTubers. Nevertheless, I still love to paint my blank canvas (I am referring to my face).
I was thrilled when Sephora send me their 40 piece cream lip stain collection. I am makeup obsessed and although I already own millions of lipstick I just can’t get enough. Every girl out there will understand me because no red shade and no nude shade will ever look the same, so yes we need to have the hundred and one red hue in our collection.
I have a few Sephora products at home but I never tried any of their lip product before. I have to tell you that the cream lip stains are absolutely amazing. I am not saying this because I was gifted with the products (I always tell you the truth otherwise what’s the point of having a blog?!).
I tried a lot of different liquid lipsticks from inexpensive (Colourpop) to average priced (ABH) to more expensive ones like Giorgio Armani and everything in between. Sephora’s lip stains have a velvet texture that dries matte on your lip. The application is smooth and easy. Lately, I am wearing different colors every day and they never crack, flake or feel dry on my lip. I am eating and drinking and I don’t have to reapply the color.
Honestly, I never thought that a Sephora liquid lipstick could be that great and they are only $15! I strongly encourage you to swatch and try them on your next Sephora visit!
Now, let’s talk about the look I created. I used the Too Faced Power of Makeup palette in collab with Nikkietutorials and the Sephora cream lip stain in shade Night Bird. I decided to go for a bold look.
I primed my eyelids using Too Faced shadow insurance. I used the blending shade ‘Painkiller’(something light beige) and applied it all over my lid. Next, I draw an eyeliner with shade ‘Wham Bam’ a purple shade on top of my upper eyelid and at the bottom of my lower lash line. If you don’t own this palette any purple shade will do. In the inner corner of my eye, I applied Ivy (a matte white) and sugar coated (a sparkly pink). Don’t forget to blend out the shades. To finish my eye look I applied mascara.
I used Too Faced Hangover primer and born this way foundation in color pearl. To set my foundation I always use Make up For ever HD pressed powder. For my eyebrows, I used the ABH Brow Pomade in shade blonde.
To contour my face I used the Benefit Hoola Bronzer and to warm up my complexion I used Kevyn Aucoin The Neo Bronzer palette in shade Siena. This palette also includes a blush and highlighter which I used to complete my look.
Thanks for stopping by!

I love your makeup here! I like the idea of the purple on the eyes, and the dark black lip is so chic. It isn't just for Halloween like people try to say. I think it has a retro feel and could even look edgy if worn right. Your look here is gorgeous :) http://www.bauchlefashion.com/2017/01/lingerie-with-benifits.html
