Hey Fashionista,
Happy Monday or should I say ‘Monday I want to break up with you!’. I guess it is up to you because if you are the one who got today’s day off you could consider yourself lucky. I had to show up to work today.
This is the perfect time to show you one of my go-to work outfits for the colder months. Especially during winter, it is important to add a little touch of color to your looks. A statement piece like my coat does not only keep you warm but it is also a nice alternative to your black wool coat.
What I am wearing to work depends on my moods. I work in a pretty casual environment. Sometimes too casual if you ask me but let’s not talk about this right now. Anywho I always wear what I feel like in the moment. Of course, it is always stylish and you will not see me coming to work with my active wear although my active wear is pretty stylish too!
My looks usually consist of jeans, dressing shirts, skirts, and dresses. One of my favorite looks is actually pretty simple. A pair of blue slacks, a white dressing shirt, and a cool pair of heels. I love adding color by adding a blazer or coat to my outfit. During winter I prefer a coat.
In terms of accessories I usually keep it simple. I love adding a statement necklace to my looks and a few bracelets.
I got this cute ostrich purse last month and I love it! To be honest it is not big enough to fit everything that I need for work. Ultimately, I have to carry my laptop under my arm but its worth it! This purse is a real show stopper and it looks super fancy!
In the end, you don’t always have to shop expensive. Most of my things are from H&M and Forever 21 but that doesn’t mean that my outfits look inexpensive. As long as you spent a little bit more on shoes and purses you will be able to elevate any outfit.
And now let’s get back to work!
Thanks for stopping by!
