Mascara: YSL The Shock

I recently tried the YSL The Shock Mascara. I received this Mascara from Influenster to test and review but opinions are my own.
In my opinion, this Mascara (design and price) targets the younger audience. I actually reminds me a bit of the Too Faced packaging - fresh and young.
The mascara formula is creamy and glides on smoothly. Even the first coat gives the lashes a good amount of volume without clumping.
The Shock Mascara has an hourglass-shaped brush which allows to grab the lashes better. The mascara definitely adds more volume rather than length. For me this is fine since my lashes are pretty long already. The mascara lasts all day, but honestly all my mascaras are long-wearing and smudge proof - unless you rub your eye like a crazy person but I wouldn't recommend that. The color is also pretty intense but I kind of expect this from a high-quality mascara.
Overall, this is a great mascara to have. It retails for $29 at Sephora.
