Hey Fashionistas,
I don’t know about you but I love hanging images, paintings or art on my wall. It only sucks that there are only so many walls to hang stuff on. I prefer art that is relatable or inspiring. So I was more than happy when Jane.com offered me a $60 credit to shop on their site. Jane.com is a marketplace where you can find clothing, decoration, and art. I chose three items from this website. Two wall art pieces and a personalized backpack.
Before I talk about this super stylish backpack, I want to show you my art. Everyone knows I am cat obsessed. I grew up with cats and I love them deeply so of course, I had to get some pet art. When you think about it for a second it sounds ridiculous but every pet owner’s heart is melting when you see the final art piece framed in your house. My cat’s name is Tetris, she is definitely a diva with a very strong personality. We got her when she was barely 2 or 3 days old because her mom died and we found the baby kittens in our backyard. Long story short, we couldn’t save the other kittens but Tetris was a fighter. We bottle fed her and we replaced her mom. So when she finally opened her eyes she saw us, so maybe that’s the reason she thinks she is not a cat - she is a mixture between a cat, a dog and human being. I could tell you endless stories about this adorable creature but I will do this some other time.
So anyways, I found this cute pet art on Jane.com. The company gives you the opportunity to choose a silhouette of your pet and include their name and a paw print or heart whatever you like. I saw it and I knew, I need! So I created this super cute image with Tetris name and a paw print. The frame is from Marshalls.
The second piece I decided to get is the silhouette of Los Angeles. As you know or not I am not from Los Angeles and I only moved here because of a very special person who is now my husband. Sometimes I think that you don’t choose the city, the city chooses you. In my case I ended up at a place where the average temperature is 73 Fahrenheit. I really can’t complaint regarding the fact that I grew up in Germany. So this art piece does not only look super stylish in our house, it is also a reminder that no matter what, you should always follow your heart.
My third item is a personalized backpack. I like the shape of this backpack and the color. I decided to get my initials NV stitched onto the backpack which is super cool. The backpack is well made and also has a zipper so you won’t lose anything. I took this backpack with me to our last zoo visit. It offers enough space for water, and snacks. A personalized backpack is a nice touch to elevate your style. Although festival season is over, it barely started for me. I don’t need a festival to wear hippie ish clothes. During summer I love to wearing high-waisted shorts and crop tops and I think that this backpack adds the perfect amount of coolness to my look!
Jane.com offers a huge variety of affordable things. That's the reason I strongly encourage you to check them out, it won’t hurt!
Thanks for stopping by!
