Hey Fashionistas,
Happy Wednesday! We are halfway through the week and I can’t wait for the weekend. I recently started a new job and the first few weeks are always the busiest since I have to get to know everything.
Last weekend we went to the beach because there is nothing more relaxing than laying on the beach and listening to the ocean’s waves. Unfortunately, it was a bit cloudy on our beach day. Our Sundays are pretty much the same every week since my husband plays soccer in the morning. The rest of the day we just watch TV and eat.
A few weeks ago we spent a day at the Venice canals. We took some pictures and walked around. This area is so cute and I could see myself doing a million photoshoots here. I also know that during summer this spot will be crowded. There is limited free parking in this area which is awesome because I hate paying for parking.
We also went all the way to the Venice sign at Venice Beach. Sometimes I feel like a tourist because I want to do all those touristy things like taking a picture with the Venice Sign. Turns out it is much harder to take a great image with the sign because of hundreds of people walking all over the place. 293 images later we eventually got a picture and moved on.
Truth to be told Venice Beach is my least favorite beach. It is super crowded and I just don’t like the vibe but the surrounding like the Venice canals are beautiful.
Last but not least my outfit. Spring is the perfect time for maxi dresses and sandals. I got this maxi dress from H&M a few months ago. I never thought that I will be liking long dresses but turns out I love them. They are easy to wear and with the right accessories, you can look super stylish. In my case, I took the casual approach and paired my maxi dress with a cute jeans jacket and some brown flats. My woven basket purse fits perfectly to this assemble. I throw on a rose gold watch and two of my Marlyn Schiff bracelets to add some glamour. Next time you see a maxi dress try it on and maybe you will love it as much as I do.
