Hey Fashionistas,
Spring officially starts this month and so does my intensive work out routine. I have been working out for the past months but the frequent rain forced me to stay indoor and pause. Of course there are some days were I can simply not motivate myself.
It’s time to hit the push button and turn up the notch. My husband and I made it our goal to get (super) fit by the end of May. This included working out consistently and eating healthy.
If you are struggling with motivating yourself, here are a few tips:
- Create a workout playlists with your favorite music. Your favorite music will push you harder to work out.
- Buy new workout clothes. New clothes always motivate me. I just got these cute work out shorts from Thrive Society
- Workout with your bestie. It’s easier to work out with someone so you can push each other. I always work out with my hubby Eric.
- Tell people you go to the gym after work. Since you told people you feel more obligated to do it.
- Set days of the week where you are going to work out. Creating a schedule will make it easier.
You don’t need to work out for hours and hours. 30 minutes is already enough to burn calories. I prefer HIIT workouts to get my heart beat up and to burn those calories.
Plus I like to think it that way. Working out only takes 20-30 minutes, 2-3 times per week. I would probably spent these 30 minutes on my phone but instead I workout.
I prefer working out after work to release my stress and to move my body. I’m sitting all day in front of a computer and it takes me around an hour to get home - thanks traffic.
There is not better feeling then being tired from a good workout and hop into the shower and finish off the day with a healthy dinner.
Thanks for stopping by!
