must do in syndey

Hey Fashionistas,

Day 3: YAY Sydney

Hello, Sydney you are cold! It really felt like winter in Sydney with freezing wind and cold temperatures. Since we started our journey in Cairns with sunny and 75 degrees it felt even colder in Sydney. The worse thing about it is that my wardrobe wasn’t really prepared for cold temperatures.

At around 2 AM we arrived at the hotel. We were super tired but we had to get up early since we had to catch another flight later the same day. Sydney is a great city and I wished we had more time to see even more.

We got up early at indulged in a decadent breakfast at Guylian Cafe. Belgium waffles and tea, YUM! This cafe is located near the Opera House. We walked around the Opera House and started our little hike to the Mrs Macquarie's Chair viewing point. This spot is the best place to take an image with the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The walk took us through the Royal Botanic Garden - I love taking walks through gardens. I could imagine this is a popular spot during warmer days just to relax and have a picnic. We’ve seen also a bunch of white cockatoos.

We also visited the St. Mary's Cathedral - that's a beautiful church near downtown. Our time was almost over so we quickly walked through downtown, picked up a few souvenirs and called an Uber.

My resume: I love everything about this city. It has a lot of parks and green areas but also the ocean. Winter feels like winter in Los Angeles. If the flight wouldn’t be that long I would definitely come back to visit even more places.

Thanks for stopping by!
